Major pharmaceutical company 2 - Transport modelling 

During a RAPIScan® project, LCP recommended reviewing their transport management because there were major cost savings opportunities.  A follow-on project was launched to model the transport operations as they operated and develop 'what if' scenarios.  LCP deployed a well known routing and scheduling package to show the efficiency improvements in various scenarios.

Wholesaler and logistics provider 2  - Delivery charges

The sector this company works in is subject to governmental regulation, which is changing.  To address the challenges posed by forthcoming decisions, our client launched a project to review the delivery charges for its customers, to reduce the impact of the potential uncertainty and possible outcomes.  LCP worked with the client to develop solutions, with several scenarios assessed and reviewed.  

International transport trade body  - Supply chain mapping and carbon-to-serve® modelling

The client wanted to gain a better understanding of the environmental impact of their industry’s core freight mode on two typical supply chains and identify opportunities for improvement.

As part of the project LCP applied its Carbon-to-Serve® methodology to map and model the ‘source to shelf’ carbon emissions of two products.  The project was a collaboration of several members of the international Green Logistics Consultants Group.
